Awards: Gregg D. Caruso was awarded the American Philosophical Association's Joseph B. Gittler Book Award for outstanding scholarly contribution in the field of philosophy of one or more of the social sciences for his book Rejecting Retributivism: Free Will, Punishment, and Criminal Justice (2022). Other awards include the SUNY Chancellors Award for Excellence in Scholarship (2015) and the Regional Board of Trustees Excellence in Teaching Award (2012).

Waide Center for Applied Ethics and Professor of Ethics and Management at Fairfield University.
